Best Films of All Time
Choosing the best films of all time proved to be harder
than I thought it would be. I didn't choose these movies
because they made huge breakthroughs in film … blah
… blah … this is not a film history class! Citizen
Kane is not on my list. I chose them because they are my
personal favorites. I can watch them over and over again
(except Shindler's list which I only saw once and I'm not
sure I could ever sit through it again.) These are the smartest
and most entertaining films I could think of. They showcase
great acting and I would recommend them to anyone. I've
decided to list only the top 50 because any less than that
excluded some of my very favorites, but more than 50 made
the process too easy. This number seemed to force me to
list only the best of the best.

I can't believe you have The Notebook on this list. Yes it was a romantic movie, but it was a total chick flick and does not belong on the top 50 movies of all time list. No Way. Was it better than Annie Hall, which is not on your list?
